With your SimplisticNode web hosting, you can create email accounts using your own domain (for example, [email protected]). This gives your business or project a professional appearance and keeps your communications under your control.
Creating an Email Account
In cPanel
Step 1: Navigate to Email Accounts
Log in to cPanel and find the Email Accounts section.
Step 2: Create a New Account
Click Create and enter the desired email address (the part before the @), select the domain, and set a strong password.
Step 3: Set Storage Quota
Choose a mailbox storage limit or leave it as unlimited (subject to your hosting plan’s overall storage).
Step 4: Click Create
Your new email account is ready to use immediately.
In DirectAdmin
Navigate to E-Mail Accounts under your domain, click Create Account, fill in the username and password, and save. The process is very similar to cPanel.
Accessing Your Email
You can access your email through webmail (accessible from your control panel or by navigating to yourdomain.com/webmail), or by configuring a desktop or mobile email client using IMAP or POP3 settings. Your control panel provides the exact server addresses, ports, and authentication details needed for client configuration.
Tip: Use IMAP rather than POP3 if you want to access your email from multiple devices. IMAP syncs your mailbox across all devices, while POP3 downloads and removes messages from the server.
