Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal make it easy to build and manage websites without writing code from scratch. SimplisticNode hosting makes it easy to install these platforms.
One-Click Installation (Softaculous / Installatron)
Most SimplisticNode hosting plans include a one-click application installer such as Softaculous (in cPanel) or Installatron (in DirectAdmin). These tools handle the entire installation process for you.
Step 1: Open the Installer
In your control panel, find and open Softaculous or Installatron from the Software section.
Step 2: Select WordPress (or Your CMS)
Browse the available applications and select the one you want to install.
Step 3: Configure the Installation
Choose the domain, directory (leave blank to install in the root), site name, admin username, and password.
Step 4: Install
Click Install and wait for the process to complete. You will receive a confirmation with your admin login URL.
Manual Installation
If you prefer to install manually, download the latest version of your CMS from its official website, upload the files to public_html via FTP or the file manager, create a MySQL database and user from your control panel, and run the web-based installer by navigating to your domain in a browser. The installer will guide you through connecting the database and completing setup.
Tip: After installing WordPress, immediately update to the latest version, change the default admin username, install a security plugin, and set up automated backups.
